Native DSD question
« on: April 03, 2022, 07:40:06 pm »

I'm using IdPi as renderer. I have native dsd checked in device settings and bitstreaming in audio settings. The Server is set to send original format, no conversion on the IdPi in the client options. Everything looks good in the audio path, sounds great. I'M used to seeing the native bit rate of the sacd iso ,ranging from 7000+ kbps, or compressed around 3000kbps. Now with native dsd they all display precisely 5644kbps. Is this normal behavior with the IdPi? Thanks

That's the exact bitrate of 2 channel non-compressed DSD.
