Properly scaling cover art video vs audio
« on: May 07, 2022, 10:21:28 am »

In case of audio (cd's, sacd's, etc.) JRiver leaves aspect ratio of the cover art intact, meaning the cover art picture can be free in its format. However, in the case of video (cover art of films and series) the cover art is displayed in a fixed aspect ratio and thus cuts pictures if they are not exactly as the required aspect ratio. How can one scale cover art for video freely, i.e. as the original picture. How can I avoid the latter situation, i.e. cut pictures. See examples attached.

Try turning off "Settings -> Tree & View -> Thumbnails -> Standardize Aspect Ratio"

Thanks for the tip. I did the trick. I am very happy. P.S. For audio it was never an issue.
