I have been successfully running Media Centre for decades and love it, my last license being for MC27.
Today I purchased MC29 for Windows 10 64bit. Following the instructions in the subsequent email, "download and install Media Centre first. Then run Media Center and enter your Registration Code (under Help > Install License, or on the startup screen).  If the matching version of Media Center is installed, the license will be installed automatically."
To my disappointment MC29 did not transfer any of the option's settings from MC27. It has taken me years to refine my settings for all the various options. I would be very grateful if you would inform me what I should do to reinstate all my option's settings from MC27.

Just back up your library in MC27 and restore it in MC29.  Settings are included.
