Cover Art
« on: May 12, 2022, 11:18:50 am »

Hello
I think I solved the mystery of cover art, where pictures did not want to be stored as a tag in a sound file while the same image was stored in another audio file.
When I was buying and downloading an album in .cue/.flac format (or .ape) and for various reasons I had to store it in more directories (eg containing compositions of more composers), then I had to split the .cue with "Cue Splitter" to save the pieces of each composer in each composer's directory.
All audio files derived from Cue Splitter no longer accept tag with a cover art image. I don't know if this problem is solved or better not to separate .cue.
I hope I helped someone with this specialized problem.
Sorry for my English

This post from a few years back might be helpful?

I actually would recommend avoiding Medieval Cue Splitter, as it's known to cause sector boundary errors (SBEs) when splitting tracks. I highly recommend CUETools instead, which doesn't cause SBEs.
