Getting Movie and TV Info on Import

Is it possible to configure auto import to automatically get TV/Movie info for one directory used in auto-import but not another?  I currently have multiple directories configured to use auto-import, some of which are not TV/Movies.  In this case sometime the tags are wrong because it assumes things are the TV when they are not.
