I'm a new MC user and recently purchased the master license as I use both Windows and Mac. I've found success using the Windows PC as a "server" and allowing the Macs to play from it through my LAN.
I'd like to take the next step of setting up a remote control. I assume that with my setup I'd need the remote to work with the Windows PC? I'd like to install the remote.....probably JRemote....on an Ipad that would primarily be used only for this purpose. It's old and we don't use it for anything else really but has a new enough OS to run JRemote.
Will JRemote work through my wireless LAN and talk to PC in the office while I'm out chilling on the deck or in the other room as long as it's connected to the network?
Maybe there's a better remote option?
