[Fixed] Added file extension on sync
« on: July 17, 2022, 06:11:34 am »

Not sure what's going on here. When syncing handled there is an additional file extension being added. This just appeared recently and only for newly added files.

I have reformatted both cards to exFat (microdxc 400Gb and 1Tb). See attachments for source, settings and target output with problem statement.

After JRiver crashed with a memory allocation error, I decided to leave the card in the device for a direct USB sync instead of the card reader I always use. It recognized the misnamed files but still thinks they are ok with the bad name compared to the source. If they are still there when it finishes the sync, I will batch correct and resync to see what happens.

Added: Crashed again during sync process. A complete mess with duplicate files for each entry which was having two file extensions now showing Delete On Sync. Plenty of free memory and disk space on all JRiver storage devices.
