Sound dropout with Radio Paradise
« on: October 13, 2022, 06:18:24 am »

Near the end of a radio paradise track, a short dropout interrupts the playback.

This has been adressed by a post 4 years ago.

The problem still persists.

I haven't been able to reproduce.  Does increasing prebuffering help in your case?

Increasing to 20 seconds does not help. 10 to 12 seconds before the next track starts playing, sound is muted for 0.5 second.

Internet is connected by WLAN. D/U speed is stable 80/25 MBit/s.
Playing flac files stored on the fileserver (using the same WLAN connection) works flawless.

There is another strange behavior with RP. Loading a file list from RP (rocking, mellow,...) takes more than 10 seconds. But after adding them to playing now, they play fine.
Problems start the next day when playing the same playlist again. Sometimees playing stops in the middle of the file and 'buffer loading ..' is shown in standard view. This dropout can last several seconds and can be repeated sevaral times.
