Modifying Theater Skin/XML file to make thumbnails larger

Trying to modify the Theater Skin/XML file(s) to make the thumbnails much larger in the Carousel View.
Tried everything, including mods to the XML files in the shared views.
I've read the skinning tutorials as well but still no luck.
