Skins and other folders
« on: November 12, 2022, 01:23:59 am »

Hi again...
I am now looking to find where skins are store in Linux folders and various other settings etc. I have set up Home folders not on my system driver and want to make sure I move as many settings default storage across to my home drive.

Where does MC30/Linux store the skin files as I have a customer adapted one that I need cobbled together which is like Modern Dark with a black LP background that I would like to copy over and append into the folders (not via download). I assume like the Windows version if I add a folder and files it will appear in the menu to be selected?

Thx
David

It's all in a .jriver folder which is hidden in the Home directory so you'd have to use whatever file manager you're using to show hidden files.

Thanks Awesome Donkey I see it now. Glad I asked I would have never guessed there. At least it's already on the Home drive. I will give it crack copying my skin folder over to there and report back.

Basically this follows the linux standard of putting configuration files in a hidden directory in the users home.
