Recent Albums not working

Not sure where version 29 stuff is so I'm posting here. When I started MC tonight about 11 albums that I imported years ago jumped to the top of Recent Albums. Restoring a previous days Library works for about 5 minutes then boom they are back. This is really bumming me out.
