I'm pretty sure this is a Windows issue but here goes.

I have a 1440p primary display and a 4k TV as a second display. When my primary display wakes up from sleep, JRiver is always on the second display and maximized. I can carefully place JRiver on my 1440p primary display and without fail, it ends up on the 4k TV after the monitor wakes up. I don't always use my 4k TV to display content but that's the reason it's hooked up via HDMI to my PC. My 1440p display is connected via Displayport.

Is there anything that can be done to sticky which display JRiver is supposed to be on?

Thanks and Happy 4th to my US friends!

Likely Windows display detection at work. Blame EDID / Windows hotplug "feature", see:

Thank you very much, TZR916. I was pretty sure this was the case but I had to ask. I really wish Microsoft would fix the scaling and other display issues with Windows 10/11.

Not sure this will help, but if you are on windows 11 (don't think 10 has this)?
Is System / Display "remember window locations based on monitor connection" option enabled?

Excellent catch, Whoareyou. I checked the setting and it was enabled. I clicked it off and back on but it didn't help. Definitely worth a try!

Thank you and peace!
