DSP Studio Accuracy

How exactly and in what format does the DSP studio calculate?
If, for example, you attenuate first the music signal by 20 dB and then increase it by 20 dB, do you only have 1/10th of the signal resolution after the calculation?

It operates at double (64bit float) precision so no such problems exist
