How to enable full screen for video playback
« on: August 02, 2023, 09:16:05 am »

Prior to upgrading from MC29, if I selected a video to play, the display would switch to full screen mode and the playback controls were accessed by moving the mouse to the top of the screen.

Since upgrading to MC31 this is not happening and I can't find a setting anywhere that says to playback full screen.

What am I missing, or has something changed in MC31?

Check Options > General > Behavior > Jump on play (video)

Check Options > General > Behavior > Jump on play (video)

I don't have anything about fullscreen in those options.

It's called "Display View".

Check Options > General > Behavior > Jump on play (video)

OK thanks, got it.

But has something changed? I don't remember having to do this with the previous version. Could it have been a default setting previously?
