Scroll bar issues
« on: February 17, 2003, 09:16:00 pm »

The vertical scrollbars in Media Center 9 don't scroll all the way to the end.

They are also v.e.r.y...s.l.o.o.o.o.w when dragging the thumb around. If I try to drag the thumb from the top to the bottom, instead of flicking straight to the bottom, it scrolls through the entire goddam list. I am guessing that this is some kind of feature that someone thought was clever because it speeds up then slows down as it approaches the target location. Think again buster, it's a frickin' stupid idea >:( If I wanted to bore myself stupid while waiting for a scrollbar to move through a list of a few thousand tracks, I'd use the arrows - that's what they're there for.

... and I suspect that this waste of programming resources is somehow connected with the inability to reach the limits of the scroll range.

Otherwise, I am very happy with Media Center... keep up the good work :)

Cheers,
John.

Do you have skinning on? Try turning it off and see if it still happens.

I got the same problem.
Mentioned it in the bug-list.
I don't use skins.
