playing files on a client pc using jremote problem, but works if played on clien

hi,

i have a nuc setup on my receiver that acts as a jriver client that i have connected to my main jriver server library. if i try to play any audio files (flac, mp3, dolby atmos music) on the client it plays right away with no problem. i use the jremote app on my iphone and when i pick the device (the nuc) i send mp3s and there is no problem. if i try to play flac or dolby atmos files it does not play and watching the client it shows it is trying to open and then does not play. any idea how to fix this ? ideally i would like to use the nuc as a visualizer and jremote on my phone to select the music. the other way i would like to use this is headless
