Alternative for the uBACCH Plug-in
« on: January 28, 2024, 10:17:55 am »

I used the trial uBACCH plug-in for 2 weeks. I was totally amazed the effect it had on the sound. Each instrument had more air around it. I could turn the volume up to a higher db level without any distortion and it made the speakers disappear. The down side is the trial ran out and I cannot afford the $980.00 to purchase it. I do believe it is worth that much for the plug-in if you compare it to a $980.00 hardware upgrade. But I just don't have that kind of dollars right now or in the near future.

Is there any alternative plug-in that would do the same basic job but cost less?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Works for me on MC32 Mac Intel 64 bit.

I got RODE to work with MC32. However, when I try to listen to DSD 128 it still crashes. I believe there is a limit to the resolution.

I figured it out. One of my settings was off. It works now.
