2nd attempt--disk burning error
« on: January 06, 2003, 04:26:12 pm »

Having gotten no reply in a post to the version 9 bulletin board, I'm reposting a problem I've had burning CDs using MediaCenter 9.

The last few CDs I've tried to burn have produced CDs that contain as many copies of the final track that exist on the original CD (e.g., if there are 12 tracks on the original, I get 12 copies of track 12 on the burned CD). I have seen at least one other post on this problem, but it received no replies either. Below is my system information.

I've had the same problem.  I recorded a disk with tracks from several CDs, and the last four tracks were all repeats of the last track I tried to record, although they were labelled with the four different tracks.

Are these audio or data mode burns? If they're data mode burns, this problem *may* have been addressed by a bug fix in the 9.0.89 build. You may want to wait till the end of the week before updating since there is some major bug fixing going on currently.

I haven't been able to replicate this problem here.

Thanks for the reply.

They are audio mode burns.

Mine were audio burns, too.
