Changing from Win 10 to Linux Mint
« on: July 14, 2024, 08:23:07 am »

I have been using JRiver in  DLNA mode to two Renderers I built using an old iphone and older ipad running J Remote for system remote control.  JRiver and my Music Library runs on an INTEL NUC with a celeron processor. Fine for JRiver and Music but slow with Windows updates. Given the upcoming lack of support for W10 I need to do something with no association with Microsoft.

Considering reloading my NUC with Linux mint and JRiver Linux version. Im unsure about remote control when moving to Linux. Will my existing J remote software on my i pad interface with JRiver Linux version as it does now with the Windows version or am I missing something ?
Advice appreciated before I start spending cash. Ian

All our software remotes work with JRiver on Linux.
