How can I prevent the title (or file name) from being displayed ( -> popping up for several seconds together with a large square symbol) and disturbing my 3rd party visualization when listening to music (a playlist of WAV and MP3 files). This is totally annoying.

I could not find any setting that prevents the title/file name from popping up when a new song (of the playlist) starts.

Click on the window, select Settings and then Disable. It is also under Tools - Options - General- Playing Now Popup
