Two different icons are used in the Options popup's submenus (right-side panel) to indicate that clicking the icon opens:
1) a separate popup (or a dropdown submenu which has an option to open a separate popup).
or
2) a dropdown menu (the dropdown may be multi-level, but never opens a popup).

I believe the following have a "separate popup" icon when they should actually have a "dropdown menu" icon:

- Audio > Stop, Seek & Skip > Jump behavior:
- General > Video Card > Hardware > Accelerated graphics:
- Startup > Update Channels > Channel:
- Video > Advanced > Jump Behavior:

Please correct.  Thanks.

Win 11 Pro 64-bit | MC 33.0.63

2/13/2025 Fixed in Build 33.0.66, included in today's Public Release 33.0.67.  Thanks.

Here are more Options dialog items with the wrong icon:
- Audio\Advanced\Configure input plug-in…
- Audio\Advanced\Test output (will save settings)…   This should probably be a button - no icon seems correct to me.
- Burning\Drives\Redetect…    This should probably be a button - no icon seems correct to me.
- File Location\Conversion Cache\    All three subitems show a pop up icon, but all three are should be menu icons
- Services\Hulu\Manage Hulu account…
- Services\Interface plug-ins\Manage interface plug-ins…
- Services\Last.FM\Manage Last.FM account…
- Services\Twitter\Manage Twitter account…
- TheaterView\Appearance\Theme

- Services\Last.FM\Manage Last.FM account…
- Services\Twitter\Manage Twitter account…
- TheaterView\Appearance\Theme

It depends on the rule.  Which rule to apply is up to JRiver, but by my OP definition 1), the following lead directly or indirectly to a popup of some kind, or contain a popup as a submenu option, so I suggest they just keep their top level popup icons as they are:
- Audio\Advanced\Configure input plug-in…
- File Location\Conversion Cache\ (all 3)
- Services\Hulu\Manage Hulu account…
- Services\Interface plug-ins\Manage interface plug-ins…
- Services\Last.FM\Manage Last.FM account…
- Services\Twitter\Manage Twitter account…

Change the rule to more like "a dropdown is a dropdown, no matter what it contains", then yes, some of these might need fixing.

Agree this needs a fix:
- TheaterView\Appearance\Theme

Agree these don't "lead" to a popup (AFAICT) or dropdown menu, so a button might help:
- Audio\Advanced\Test output (will save settings)…
- Burning\Drives\Redetect…

But if some some kind of confirming response is added, then their current popup icons would be OK for me.  A good example is "Audio > Test output (will save settings)...".  While this is effectively a button, it has a clear confirming response (whether pass or fail) so a popup icon can work.

This.  If an icon indicates a specific action will occur if clicked, but then does something different, it's the wrong icon.

If I lived in England, I'd be in my car heading over right now. ;D

Sorry about that - just your standard dumb yankee here… England… Scotland… All the same to us - hahaha.

And it would be a lot more than just one stop… I own a Tesla, and 7 years in, it gets less than 30% of its claimed range (with less than 30,000 miles on the car).  Even over the first week with my brand-new car, it fell short of the 334 mile full charge claim by 60 miles!  Worst purchase ever.

I now proudly display a bumper sticker saying "I bought this before I knew Elon Musk was crazy"

I hope that things waterproofed - in places the interstate/motorway  between the USA and the UK tends to be under a couple off thousand feet of water  ;D
