CornerLR
Rather than large and bold, I got to thinking that minimalist would make a nice change. "CornerLR" (LR=Lower Right) is the result.
The small icons are, for me, really hard to work on and very time consuming. To avoid all of that, I recycled the set that I already made for this skin too. The popup is 140 pixels square, transparent areas are ignored.
Information regarding the previous, current and next tracks is provided via tooltips.


CornerLR-Cover
Is exactly as above, with the addition of cover art.


Both have been produced on a screen using a 1920 x 1200 resolution @ 100% on Windows 10 Pro. Feedback from users on other platforms and/or resolutions, good or bad, is especially appreciated.

The attached archives contain an mjp file. Extract and double click this mjp file. MC will automatically download and install the skin.

Update 02 March 2025 (applies to both variants):
The size of all components has been doubled.
The default size is still 140 x 140 pixels, however, if you prefer to use the popup settings to increase the size, you can safely run up to 200% with no visible loss in quality. Scale settings greater than 200% will begin to show signs of 'fuzziness' as the components are scaled up in software.

I really quite like this popup. Still using it today.

Had there been more interest, I would have considered flipping this one for each corner.

This set of alarm bells for me, so I tried it here at 175%, and, well, the icons looked a wee bit rubbish to me. To that end, I've spent way too many hours making bigger ones. I basically doubled the size of everything, which was not straightforward as none of them scaled up nicely.

Could you try the "Album art" version for me please? That's had the treatment and files on the server have been updated. If it's OK I'll prep the basic version and upload that too.

here is the coverart version at 175%. i find the 100% too small. i think it looks fine. when you go past the 200 at gets a bit 'washed out'.
