Are you talking about after playing or after ripping?

The after ripping eject CD works ok on my machine.

after or when stoping playing.
Or when ,like i do now checking hundreds and hundreds of cds to see if they are in the YADB data

After ripping you can even get a sound played now.
I had 3 millions posts about it in 2 years.
I may have to do the same concerning eject cd.
Anyway ,thank very much for the play sound fonction

I kinda agree that if MJ is to be the best it needs to include ALL basic functions that all the others have and then more ontop.
Some of the more elaborate options that competitors have might not necessarily be added but all the basic ones definitely should be included purely as a matter of habit.

And features that ALL other players have that aren't in MJ should be also included automatically whether they are big or small features simply because it would suggest the feature is obviously fairly important or useful if EVERY other company has them.

Before v9 release of MC I also suggest that ALL the other competitors are looked at strongly and ANY feature they have that MC doesn't should be strongly considered to be included - why let them have a one up?

Even if it's a minor feature, someone might like it so make sure MC has it just to make EVERYONE  love it :)

It takes 2 seconds to eject a CD calling the mciSendCommand sending the MSI_SET parameter ... so in answer to your question no it isn't.
