Import is Slow. [Solved]
« on: March 08, 2025, 05:44:28 pm »

Hi. I have a problem since the last stable update. I have also installed this latest one that I have seen on the forum to see if it would fix it, but it has not. The problem is that JRiver no longer performs the library update. It is a large library, several tens of thousands of albums and until now it did it in manual mode, very fast, in less than fifteen minutes. It was perfect. But since the last update I leave it a couple of hours and it barely scans a few folders. What is the previous stable version to install? My update jumped from the stable channel of the app itself.

There is no known problem with import.  Double check your settings.

More details would help.

Antivirus software can cause problems, too.

I'll move this to a new thread.

I have never used auto-import. I always import manually. And the problem has appeared with the last stable update. There have been no changes in the PC software. In fact I don't use a full antivirus, but only Malwarebytes. But there have been no changes. It is a pc dedicated exclusively to audio player.

Uninstall Malwarebytes.  Use Windows Defender but configure it.

Correction. I disabled Malwarebytes and the import worked. I will try to see what happened or what changes some update has included in Malwarebytes. Thanks for your help.
