For those of us that have curved screens and anamorphic lenses Im sure you are all using Geometry Correction in JRVR, I have now for sometime….
Can anyone tell me are subtitles also corrected with our settings in Geometry Correction?

I feel maybe not….
When I’ve made the correction I’ve always used a grid test pattern and the curvature of the pattern follows the curve of my screen.
However I do screen a lot of foreign films with subtitles, Im sure they are not corrected as their curvature doesn’t seem to follow the curve of my screen.
Am I right or wrong on this, e.g. the image is corrected but the subtitles are not?
