help - can't get my ipod to work with mc9
« on: January 11, 2003, 07:17:15 pm »

On a virgin 10gb ipod (PC), I installed the iPod plugin (3.0.40) into MC9.0.88, then carefully and completely followed the detailed instructions at http://www.home.earthlink.net/~ashawley01/.  Everything went just fine until I tried sending files to the iPod... MC bombed, giving me "mediajukebox has generated errors and is shutting down...".

For kicks (and to verify my PC could actually send mp3s to the iPod), I installed MusicMatch Jukebox, their iPod plugin, and waa-laa.... perfect.  I'm now loaded up with hundreds of mp3s.

Now I definately DON'T want to switch to MusicMatch.

Any ideas on how to get this thing to work with MC9?

By the way, I had MJ 8 installed prior and did not uninstall... instead, I installed MC9 into a new folder.

Thanks!

There is an iPod thread here.  Please post there.

The version of the plug-in and the version of the program need to be compatible.  This may be your problem.  9.0.95 is in a thread near the top.
