(multiple artists)...
« on: December 20, 2002, 04:33:42 am »

for some reason the new v. is organizing many of my files to Artist/Album - (Multiple Artists) instead of the correct artist, when there is in fact only one artist. But only a portion of files from the same folder and by the same artist.  - I can find no common denominator indige - indigi - indidgie - um, only belonging to the affected files. Any clues folks?

Make sure that all the tracks for the album have EXACTLY the same artist in the artist field and in the directory name.  An extra space or a change in capitalization will make it different.

i've been using MJ since V. 7 - my database has 3500 songs in it and i've come to know id3 tags pretty well by now - MJ has handled all my files just fine until this new version. all of my files ID3 tags are exactly the same (per artist/album of course...). this is not the problem...
