Media Jukebox 8 used to ruin file names and ID3 tags containing Cyrillic characters. Media Center 9 won`t play them at all. Attempting to open an mp3 file with a Russian name evokes the following error message:

<Media Jukebox was unable to play any of the files in the playlist.

Please make sure that the path in the Media Jukebox library points to the right location.

Also double check to make sure that you are not unintentionally filtering these files.>

It`s kind of disappointing, especially considering that JRiver`s CTO is Russian. Nexorosho... Musicmatch Jukebox Version 7.5 now reads Cyrillic filenames without any problem. Even Winamp 3 does a better job, once you tune it up a little. Can anything be done about it in MC9?
