If I click on "options" in the menu, MJ crashes away.

Delete this in the registry and reinstall 9.  Let us know if it helps.

My MJ has this behaviour also.  I open the Options dialog to check a setting and when I click OK, it crashes MJ.  It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens often.  And for the record, it happens less now than when I first installed MJ back in June.

Would deleting that registry key help for version 8?

I did the following:

- removed registry key
- installed ver9 over the already installed one
 - crashes
- uninstalled ver9
- installed ver9
- YEAH!
