Need help with "Slide Show" plugin
« on: October 28, 2002, 03:05:16 pm »

How do I get the program to use an HTTP directory of JPGs as the slideshow ... They arent directly part of a webpage ... I have an INDEX page that shows Thumbnails of the pics, but doesnt directly show the big pics ... If I point the slideshow to the directory via the Web Spider, it only pics up the thumbnails .. (By SPIDER, I thought it meant it would actually traverse links to JPGs) ... I tried using a separate directory that didnt have ANY HTML, just JPGs, and no go ...

Anyone know how I cld do this without making an index page that actually contains pics from my entire collection (one ugly page)

This isn't really built-in, so the Web Spider is your best bet.

It should get the images if there are plain HTML links to them, and if they're in the same domain as the page.

Could you make a special HTML page that just has a list of the real images, and then spider that?
