what is in the fields

ArtistName: ?
And
SongName: ?

normaly if there is some weard chrs in there the TCP control\windows will pop up that box.

By Weard i mean somthing other than a-z A-Z 1, 2, 3, 4,5 ,6 ,7 ,8 9 etc....

I doubt it was that as I was just retrying lyrics finder with tracks that have been batched before - and I just tried the same files again and it worked fine.  Maybe I just had some other file lurking around in my playing now.

Another question - does the plug in still search popular sites on the web for lyrics or does it just rely on those submitted to your db by others?  A lot of the tracks that I'm still looking for are really well known - like all time classics.  There are still too many blanks for me to go searching for them manually.

That's not meant as a criticism.  Your plug is amazing to have been able to fill 70% of my library.  I was just a bit surprised about some of the the ones that were not found.

That was the only time i seen that problem.

it also could have something to do with a drive problem, Norton Disk Doctor 2004 fixed it.

however i have seen problems yesterday in the ftp log, a re-boot of my system may have fixed it.

No i did not see much point in it since i started with lyrics from about 20 lyrics sites. and the old program only searched 10 of them. so what they had i have and since then many have been added.

besides it would slow the program down too much.

I was just a bit surprised about some of the the ones that were not found.

me too about some songs, when you find them all resubmit them to the server.
