converting from wma
« on: December 30, 2003, 08:57:50 am »

I have around 50 wma tracks which sometimes play and sometimes bring up the warning 'unable to acquire license....' I have searched through previous posts and I think it is something to do with the wma format and so I am trying to convert them all the MP3. However, when I try and use the conversion tool it just says 'Coversion Failed'. I have started converting them indivually using Media Editor but it's taking hours. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong when using the conversion tool? I have read through help files but can't seem to find anything relevant.
I have tired doing the tracks as a group and also invidually. I select 'MP3 Encoder VBR' when trying to convert and that doesn't work. I also tried MP3 Encoder and that didn't work either. MP3 Encoder VBR works fine when I do it using Media Editor.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
