Slow clicking will.  A fast double-click won't.

When I use the double click button on my graphics tablet's pen (equivalent to a mouse) it's still doing it for me.
Double the time you're currectly considering as 'fast' might be more appropriate? I cant see any reason someone would want to make it appear then want to get rid of it less than 2 seconds later?
