My car headunit supports mp3s, and I'm thinking of getting a portable that does as well.  As far as I can tell, however, MJ only supports burning as either CDA or the original format (mostly APE in my case, but that's irrelevant in general).  

My next thought was to use MJ to convert my files to mp3 and use a standalone burning app.  However, when doing so, I couldn't find a facility to prepend numbers to the track names.  Thus I'd be left with a directory sorted alphabetically or somesuch.  I could use a separate converter, I suppose, but I much prefer being able to construct a playlist using MJ's library tools.  

Is what I want somehow possible now?  Future?  MC10?

Media Center 10 will do exactly that. Try it...you'll like it.

I thought I remembered seeing a $20 upgrade offer on this forum but I can't find it.  Regardless, I really doubt the expensive video portions will replace DScaler, VirtualVCR, and Avisynth...  I will test the revamped audio features and see if it's worth it.

Ok, I'm in love with MC10.  However...I still haven't found a way to create mp3 CD's.

An mp3 cd is a data cd. So choose Burn CD or DVD in the Action Window and then choose Data CD or DVD in the drop down menu.

Thanks, I got that far.  I then drop a file onto the action popup or add it manually to the queue.  I then click "options" hoping to select mp3 (LAME VBR normal, as I've selected elsewhere in the program) as my output format.  The option doesn't appear to be there.  Am I wrong?
