WMA VBR / WMA Lossless crashes Tivo

MC 9.1.319 / Current Media Server

WMA VBR audio crashes my TIVO, every time, just about every song.

WMA Lossless (Win XP) crashes Tivo, every time, just about every song.

WMA normal (192 kbps) works fine.

Isolated completely to this variable.

Audio encoded in Windows Media Player 8 or 9.

Suggestions?

I tried version 10, and played lossless WMA with no problems.
Could you give v10 a try?
