MC crash with Coverart Finder

using the coverart finder from www.spartasoft.com MC crashes if i go to ie. album view.... or any other view for that matter?

Hope u can use this info. Not sure if it is a bug in sparta soft or MC?

it is not mine

I however don't see any crashes

It may be your system or mc.

I've seen the same thing for quite a while.  Start Coverart Finder and tell it to start gathering cover art.  Before it is finished, change views (go to library view or playlist, whatever), and MC will crash.  If you wait for it to finish, and then wait a couple more seconds, and then change views, it will not crash.

now that is a bug in my program.

and i know about it, the fix is to let it run.

any more talk about that should go in the 3rd party area

That's what I do, but the issue is that sometimes, when it appears to be finished, it really isn't.  The way I have worked around it is to let it finish, then wait another 10 seconds or so.

The only reason I posted about it is because I think this is what the original poster was referring to...  but I could be wrong. :)

Coverart finder crashes MC on my system when I go directly from Coverart finder to playing now, but I won't crash if I first go to 3rd party plugins. Strange...

i will look at it, and find out where it is crashing, it is because the loop is not completing. due to the user exited early.

I don't know why it crashes.

It has a help file stating don't exit the plug-in untill it is done or you stop it.
