Playback bug on last track in playing now
« on: June 14, 2004, 11:41:28 pm »

Hi,

overall I am extremely happy with MC but now I have encountered a strange behavior. Almost all tracks in my collection have a long fade out period at the end or don't appear as the last track on an album and therefore appear at the bottom of playing now.

The last track on Miles Davis 'Kind of Blue' however goes almost to the last second. When I play it MC reproducably cuts the song short like it is not playing back all the buffers. If I put any other track below it plays it to the end and then starts the next one.

I am using ASIO playback with gapless enabled and standard seeking. My sound card is an M-auido DIO24/96 with the new .42 drivers.

Can anyone else reproduce this? any idea how to fix it?

Cheers

Just a little more data on this. All my tracks are APE encoced and I use 10.0.146.

Anyone?

What happens if you switch to wav out or direct sound?  MC/Tools/Options/Playback settings.

Hopefully this will be fixed in the next builds of MC 10 and MC 11.

Thanks Thomas.
