MC interference with win CD burning
« on: June 27, 2004, 09:49:43 pm »

I purchased the v. 10 upgrade.

I'm trying to burn a data cd using win explorer.

The default association with my cd-r drive is now 'mjextman'.  The default disc is 'Audio CD'.

I can NOT change this in win explorer in 'AutoPlay.'

It seems that MC has taken over my cd-r.  I need to burn cds w/o mc ASAP but since installing v.10 cd-rw does NOT WORK AT ALL!!

I'm not aware of any effect that MC has on other program's ability to burn CD's. What happens when you put in a blank CD and drag files to it for burning (in Win Explorer)?

I get a mssg about the drive being inaccessible.

The drive works (audio and data cds) but when I put in a CD-RW I can't click and drag, nor does Win XP "recognize" the blank CD as anything other than a "Music CD."
