Media Center and WinDVD
« on: June 29, 2004, 03:41:56 pm »

Hi,

I'm new to media center and I'm wondering if I can tell it to use a 3rd party application for dvd playback.  I'm mainly interested in DVD-Audio support with WinDVD.  Can Media Center interface with WinDVD, if so can I get track names and such back in media center?

thanks

One way...

Right click on file and select Send To>Send To (external) and select Add/Edit Programs (you only need to do this once) and add WinDVD ... afterwhich it will appear in that sub-menu.

10-27

edit: tested with PowerDVD...works great

Send to external
Add/Edit Programs
