Can we legally redistribute MJ?
« on: November 10, 2002, 11:41:20 am »

I'm making CDs for Christmas presents this year in CD-EXTRA format (unfortuantely I'll have to use Nero to do that  :( ) and I was wondering if I can include a copy of the MJ install exe on the data track.  No registration codes or anything of course.   Can't really see a clear answer in the license.

BTW, There's a problem in the license with the use of the word "express" referencing the warranty.   Should probably be "expressed".

express = fast
expressed = explicitly communicated

Lawyers, sheesh.  :P

Sure, Remy.  Thanks for asking.  Here's the policy:

DISTRIBUTION? If you would like to re-distribute Media Jukebox on a CD, or add it to a web page, and you are not charging for it, you are free to do so. If you are a hardware manufacturer or you charge for distribution, please contact us for more information.
