Audio Converter - Question? - Bug?
« on: July 20, 2004, 03:25:01 pm »

Greetings to MC Creators & Users!!!

I have a Question: ?

I´ve Ripped my Cd´s to WMA Lossless for Quality Storing.

Now I want convert them to MP3 to listen to it in my Car or DVD Player!!!

But then starts the Problem!!

Converting to MP3 - No Problem, but
When I tried to listen to it I noticed that MC (Encoder) Cuts Off the last 4 - 7 Seconds.
Also when the Song has a loud Ending!!!!
I tried all of the Formats (Ogg cuts 3 - 5 Seconds Off;MP3 VBR;MP3;Wave;WMA VBR)
The only Encoder who worked normal was the APE Encoder (Exactly same Playtime as the Original) ,but I already have the Cd´s Lossless Copied!!
The Ripped WMA Lossless Songs have the Original Playtime!!
Using MC 10.0.150!!!
Had No Problems with Ripping
Must be an Converter Problem!!!!
Or did I forget something;Or is it a Bug?

My System:
AMD 2400 XP;512 MB RAM;Elitegroup K7S5a Pro Motherboard:Hercules 5.1 DVD Soundcard;ATI 9500 Graphic;
Win XP Home SP1;

Anyone in here who has the same Problem?
Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(PS:Excuse me for my bad Writing!) :-[

...Using MC 10.0.150!!!...

I had similar file conversion problems with v.148. V.149 fixed them. I hope that the bug is not back.

The previous bug was discussed here: Lossless WMA without Normalize?
