MediaCenter can't deal with filenames containing the hash character (#).  For example, "Fugue in C#.ra" blows up while MediaCenter lauches Real Audio Player.  Yet I can play it just fine directly from Real Audio Player.

Also I still have problems playing files with filenames consisting entirely of Chinese characters.  I have no problems playing them with iTunes.

Is this a known bug and will it/can it be fixed?  Thanks.

I have a lot of tracks that have that character in both the tag and the name...

I was fine with MC9.1,  10 and 11

Maybe it because these are mp3 and .ape??

Yes, it seems to happen to file types that are not internally supported by MediaCenter.  I guess what it does is it spawns RealAudio player (hopefully not through DOS) and passes in the filename.  However, the # symbol causes the filename to be interpretted the wrong way.

JRiver, could you PLEASE fix that bug?  Thanks.
