I'm an MJ7/8 veteran playing around with MC10 after a year away with iTunes.

I discovered much to my delight that MC plays iTunes Music Store files -- yay!
However, my several dozen protected AACs play noticeably louder than my 20,000 MP3gained MP3s. In iTunes, I can set the volume down for the AACs so they match the MP3 volume. This leveling is applied to my iPod, burned CDs, etc.

Any way of doing that in MC w/o replay gaining or re-MP3gaining all of my MP3s?

I think this can be done thru a plug-in.

i just tested it in a plug-in i am playing with

Test File: F:\My Music\2001\Craig David - 7 Days (1).mp3

Re-Play Gain Test 1
Old: -13.161709999999999
New: -13.161709999999998

Re-Play Gain Test 2
Old: -13.161709999999998
New: -14.161709999999998

once i click on save MC saves it to the mp3 and database just fine.
