soundcard recording choice ?

My 2nd soundcard doesn't appear on the list for recording, it does appear on the playback list. It is also available in the Windows control panel for audio recording.

Any ideas ?

It is an rme hammerfall by the way.

By looking at a previous message of mine on the forum  about this card, I see it did work with Media Jukebox PLUS 8.0.372

More info. That was almost certainly windows 98 it worked with, now using Windows XP sp1. The first soundcard is a soundblaster which works fine.

The hammerfall works correctly with goldwave and soundforge by the way.

System is athlon 1300 with 512mb of ram
