Import/Export playlists to WMP?
« on: October 20, 2004, 06:58:25 pm »

I use MJ in my HTPC but I have a carPC that uses Windows Media Player. Is there any way to convert playlists from one to the other, assuming I keep the mp3's in the same relative folders on each computer?

I have the same question... converting from WMP playlists, which I have a bunch, to a Media Jukebox playlist. Can it be done?

Okay, I figured out how to do it.

Go into WMP.

Right click on the playlist you want to convert and choose edit.

When the playlist pops up in the far right hand column click on the playlist and choose "save playlist as" and in the dialogue box you can choose .m3u

It's going to add a duplicate entry for that playlist in WMP, but you can just delete it if you want. A little time consuming, but one way to do it I guess. Maybe there's a shareware program out there that can do it??
