transfer error for iPod

Hi
I have a problem. I recently purchased MC and iPod and am very happy with both. Only problem is that when i synch with the iPod, MC fails to transfer quite a large number of songs (approx 3-400 out of 5000). It only says there was an error but doesnt specify why! And the failed transfers are all mp3 files.
So, is this just something to accept or is there anyway to fix this? Anyone has same experience?

I get the same message periodically. Not quite as bad though. I have an error occur in about 1 evey 600 or so. The File plays just fine - I have noticed on occasion that the same file may actually sync on another attempt- but not usually.
