Media Server confusion - user guide incorrect?
« on: January 24, 2005, 05:56:07 am »

Hi there

I have successfuly connected one client to the media server on my home network. I now want to set up remote use. When I looked at the user guide
http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox/media_server.html

(which refers to Media Jukebox v6) it points to menu options and screens that dont seem to exist.

where have I gone wrong?

Thanks

Jes

It may depend on what version your running, so you may need to provide that info also so someone who uses the same version as you can help.

If it works at home, it will work from another PC on the Internet IF the network is open.  Firewalls, proxy servers, and NAT all need to work.

MJ has a Help section.  Did you try it?

Copy your system info from MJ Help and paste it here.
