Black screen
« on: February 15, 2005, 05:27:13 pm »

When I try to rip a CD my screen goes BLACK ! The only way I can get back from this is to ctrl-alt-del then end the LAME encoder plug-in task, then MC 10 stops responding. What have I done?

Try leaving it for twenty minutes.  It's possible it's the encoder.

It's also possible there is a hardware problem with the CD drive.  Check master slave settings for ALL drives.
