Adding Audio Books
« on: March 22, 2005, 04:06:55 pm »

Hi, I am adding more and more audio books into my library.
I have been  assigning them all as books under the audio heading.
This is not so good as it contaminates my music library.
(I normally select music by artist)
I would like to add an extra heading 'books' at the same level as Audio etc
I cannot see how to do this in MC10 or 11.
Is it possible?
Thanks

Why Don't you create another library

1. Music
2. Audio Books
3. Old Time Radio

And brake up the library

I do it it keeps my music and my old time radio and audio books in two difrent libraries

You could right click on Media Library in the tree and choose "Add View Scheme".  Name it "Books" and arrange it however you want.

We'll try to improve this in the future -- maybe make a new media type.

Thanks King and Jim.
Two work arounds, I will experiment, see what the implications are.
I think the ability to add a new media type would be the best solution.
Thanks
