Need New copy of Old Install File
« on: March 27, 2005, 02:28:56 am »

I purchased an older version of Media Center (9.0.175.0) over a year ago and am still satisfied with it today. Recently a problem with my motherboard resulted in my removing my hard drive and installing it on another system as slave. I still have all my Media Center files installed on the slave drive, but I can't find any way to install the programme within my Windows install running on the master drive, so I'm effectively cut off from Media Center unless I can get a new install file.
Can anyone tell me how to find it if it's still on my system but I'm too incompetent to locate it? Or could someone at JRiver send me a copy of it?

Because you have a new operating system installation MC needs to be reinstalled and you must restore your license afterwards. From the Forum FAQ:

"MC9 has been replaced by MC10, but a copy of MC 9.1 can be found here:
ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/old/MediaCenter91319.exe"

The license & restore information page: http://www.jrmediacenter.com/buy_faq.html

Would that be OK? 9.1 is newer and a bit different, but it works with the same license.

I have the last 9.0 build (9.0.180) in my archive. I could mail it to you if needed and if your mailbox is big enough. The message would be over 12 MB after encoding to mail format.
